This project, Portrait of strangers, is simply that. It is a series of informal portraits of ordinary people going about their day to day activities. In each case, the subject was asked to pose facing the camera and the image was later cropped to a square format.
The project began by asking the subject to adopt any pose they wanted, but it was felt that a face-on, non-smiling image, somehow tells the viewer more about the individual. Available or natural light was used.
